CKB Ecosystem Biweekly Update #22
Welcome to the latest CKB Ecosystem Biweekly Update. Here’s a quick summary of key dev and ecosystem progress from the past two weeks.
Infrastructure & Tooling 
- @CKBdev fixed security issues across Tentacle, light client & CKB-VM; continued txpool redesign, data schema optimization, QUIC integration, C-contract tooling & Proposal Type Script benchmarking; and released CKB v0.209.0.
- @CKBDevrel reworked the RGB++ Asset API, added a simple Fiber UI with Opticrum support & tested the delegated watchtower solution.
- @FiberDevs released Fiber 0.9.0, posted the Fiber WebLN research and prototype, improved docs, released Fiber Interactive Tutorials, and continued the work on Fiber liquidity management. More: Fiber Dev Log 2026-08-06

Web5 & DAO 
- Pocket Node for Android is complete (report); latest release: v1.8.3. @Jnr6 is seeking $15K from the CKB Community Fund DAO for Pocket Node for iOS, and this proposal is currently in the Discussion Stage.
- CKB Anywhere Card V2 did not advance from the DAO Discussion Stage.
- Fiber Studio (formerly Fiber Desktop) shipped v1.0.0, completing Milestone 3.
- Invisibook shared a weekly update: benchmarked its co-zk implementation & continued the paper’s security-analysis section.
- FiberLatch Access shared a weekly update: its Node.js package & paid-resource demo are implemented.
- Fiber Payjoin-kit V2: The new proposal is scoped to Phase 1 of the original only, with two concrete end-to-end demos against a real Fiber node addressing the fee-contribution and funding privacy pain points highlighted.
Ecosystem Projects & Community 
- Nervos attended Rare Evo 2026 in Las Vegas, Jul 28–31.
- CKB is live on Kaze platform.
- Nervos Talk now supports Mermaid diagrams.
- @Nervapes published its Q2 2026 Recap.
- The Bitcoin Light (formerly CKBull) Reddit AMA has wrapped. Catch the answers if you missed it.
- @janx released CKBadger v0.7, its 2nd major release.
- @U-Iriamuzu introduced Sluice, a liquidity-ops workspace for CKB Fiber.
- @Ajay shared a PactAgent update: the project is evolving from a single end-user agreement/payment app into reusable, app-scoped agreement & escrow infra.
- @mohanson published CKB-VM deep dives on Spawn Syscall, Cycles & Instruction Decoder/Cache.
- @ArthurZhang published CellScript v0.22.0 release notes and a draft RFC for a unified CKB artifact registry.
- @duongja shared FiberScope, an open-source explorer and infra for Fiber visibility, route readiness, liquidity intelligence & payment diagnostics.
- @yixiu.ckbfans.bit shared the Part 2 of CCC docs rebuild record, covering AFDocs implementation & Skills setup.

- @ckba_build published 2 long-form Fiber Network articles:
- Bitcoin mining pool Poolin filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. CKB miners using Poolin are suggested to redirect hashrate to other available pools.
Nervos Community Catalyst & Spark Program 
Nervos Community Catalyst
- Gone in 60ms: Fiber Network Infrastructure Hackathon closed submissions with 66 final projects across 3 categories. Winners to be announced towards the middle or end of August.
- Build on CKB Campaign #03 wrapped with 25 completions.
- @Leonard shared CKB Escrow, a decentralized escrow app for goods & services.
- @Jedi_dtechmaker shared CKScope, a CCC-native, local-first CKB explorer POC.
- @xiaomao published The Proof Is Valid. The Transition Might Not Be, and When the Proof Finally Met the Cell.
- @truthixify pushed another round of ckb-viz updates.
- @WuodOdhis shared lessons from exploring receive-first Fiber payments via a Lightning-style LSP path.
- New CKBuilder article in the Knowledge Base:
Spark Program
- The Spark Committee published Spark is Not What, and What Spark Wants to Do, clarifying the gap between Spark’s original design & community expectations.
- New Spark applicants are requested to create the project repo under the GitHub account used for identity verification at the time of submission. For multi-applicant teams, the primary applicant creates it & others fork it.
- Dular published its completion report.
- Nervos Brain (NB) is live in Nervos Nation for CKB Q&A. The applicant has completed the Spark project. Read the Committee’s final report.
