Welcome to the latest CKB Ecosystem Biweekly Update. Here’s a quick summary of key dev and ecosystem progress from the past two weeks.

Infrastructure & Tooling

@CKBdev launched an AI Resources page, continued security fixes and Neuron report reviews, drafted a ckb-vm/ckb-script security-scanning agent skill, and completed CKB light-client hardening around arithmetic bounds, proof input validation, duplicate tx hashes, and panic prevention. @CKBDevrel improved AI-agent discoverability for CCC docs, added Spore support to the playground, and planned RGB++ assets API improvements.
@FiberDevs published Fiber v0.9.0-rc4, updated fiber-js for newer TypeScript support, made npm CI/release inputs more reproducible, launched Fiber docs 2.0, completed an initial study of LND Loop’s design, and continued iOS mobile explorations and CCH demo. More: *Fiber Dev Log 2026-06-25*

Web5 & DAO

@truthixify is applying for $7,000 from CKB Community Fund DAO to extend Vellum from identity to reputation, with CKBoost testnet integration. Voting is live on Meteforo (vote here).
@Ticoworld is applying for $3,000 from CKB Community Fund DAO to build FiberLatch Access. Voting is live on Meteforo (vote here).
@Rypto is applying for $4,500 from CKB Community Fund DAO for a 4-month CKB content + advocacy campaign. Voting is live on Meteforo (vote here).
@DWSQUIRES is applying for $27,700 from CKB Community Fund DAO for Werra, a Kenya-first creator marketplace. This proposal is now in Discussion Stage.
@SalmanDev is applying for $5,000 from CKB Community Fund DAO to build a native Python SDK for the Fiber Network. This proposal is now in Discussion Stage.
Luxvoid Protocol proposal failed in the Discussion Stage of CKB Community Fund DAO.
Pocket Node released v1.7.5, fixing send reliability, clearer send errors, pending-send display, sync stability, and a Nervos DAO UI issue.
Fiber Desktop published its Milestone 2 completion report.
@phroi shared updates on CKB integration for Rosen Bridge.
iCKB CCC-native libraries are paused until the CCC UDT support path is clear.
Invisibook published a weekly update, continuing proof-of-buy work and exploring Fiber support for consensus.

Ecosystem Projects & Community

@CKBAMembership conducted the Cycle 1 application: after the June 22 General Assembly vote, 5 of 13 applicants were approved as Contributing Members.
@Nervapes is searching globally for 10 independent artists for its October exhibition at Villa Ciani, Switzerland. Application deadline: July 10, 2026.
@BitcoinLightApp (ex-CKBull) v1.4.0 is about to land, adding more BTC and CKB buy options via Meld.io, plus performance improvements and fixes.

@ckba_build published a series of long-form articles on quantum resistance:

Nervos Community Catalyst

Gone in 60ms: Fiber Network Infrastructure Hackathon is live, focused on integration tooling, wallet/channel flows, routing diagnostics, merchant payments, liquidity services, and reusable dev components. Prize pool: $20,000.
@truthixify released dir, an open directory of CKB-native project ideas.
@U-Iriamuzu introduced Obscell Privacy Mixer, a privacy-preserving mixer prototype for Nervos CKB.
@Mulandi_Cecilia shared the 2nd and 3rd parts of Research Notes on ZK Proofs.
@blackbox_pos companion wallet shipped post-quantum sends live on testnet and a major security pass, while the POS app moved from LVGL display-layer port to usable point-of-sale app. More: *Blackbox Devlog #4*
New ongoing Catalyst projects:
- ContestLedger, a decentralized contest platform
- CKB Geo-Wars, a decentralized geo-political strategy game
- CKB-Lattice, a post-quantum account system for Nervos CKB

Spark Program

CKB-UGMP, a universal gasless Spore/DOB minting prototype on CKB, is complete. Read the completion report.
