提案更新

在我们发布提案之后，@jm9k 发布了 nervoshalving.com，他做得很好。不过我们认为，一个强大的社区应该是多元化的，多一个入口展示 Nervos 有利于捕获更多用户。同时，在过去的几周里，我们从社区用户的角度出发，对提案涉及到的功能进行优化升级，结合现状，完善了UI设计，以下是该提案做出的调整内容：

  • 提案标题的主体内容更新为：CKBFans社区赞助提案——ckbdapps.com
  • 升级后的网站为 ckbdapps.com，CKB减半事件相关内容作为其中的一个子功能。
  • ckbdapps.com 定位为「一站式探索 Nervos 生态」，将 Nervos 生态的应用列表、教程等集成到该网站里。

Proposal Update:

After our proposal was released, @jm9k created nervoshalving.com, which was well done. However, we believe that a strong community should be diverse, and having more than one entry point to showcase Nervos would be advantageous in capturing more users. At the same time, over the past few weeks, we have optimized and upgraded the features of the proposal from the perspective of community users and in consideration of the current situation, improved the UI design. The following are the adjustments made to the proposal:

  • The main content of the proposal title has been updated to “CKBFans Community Sponsorship Proposal - ckbdapps.com”
  • The upgraded website is ckbdapps.com, with the halving event of CKB as one of its sub-functions.
  • ckbdapps.com is positioned as a “one-stop exploration in Nervos ecosystem” platform, integrating the application list and tutorials of Nervos ecology into the website.

1. 背景

作为加密市场上屈指可数的PoW链，Nervos CKB Network（一层）将于今年迎来第一个减半窗口。然而，截至目前为止，还没有看到一个减半相关的说明网站，以方便用户访问了解 CKB 减半的细节，这不利于四年一度的减半大事件的宣传。

本提案就 CKB 减半倒计时网站的建设向社区征求意见，以期能快速落地执行。

2. 关于我们

CKBFans，顾名思义，我们是一群 CKB 的坚定支持者、布道者，我们当中有些成员从 CKB 主网上线之前就关注并参与到社区建设中，一路走来，我们看到 Nervos 作为区块链底层的基础设施正在向着更好、更完善的方向发展。

在过去的一年多，我们将一部分精力用于开发 CKB 生态应用的工具，以帮助用户更好地上手 CKB 链上的应用。

在这些工具上线后，在社区获得良好的口碑。我们收到很多用户的反馈，这些工具帮助用户解决了他们的需求，为他们节省了大把时间，这让我们倍受鼓舞，同时，我们不断听取来自社区的需求，持续打磨完善这些工具，以更好地服务社区用户。

.bit 是基于 Nervos 一层的 DID 项目，我们计划在接下来的一段时间里，为 Nervos 社区持续带来一些有影响力的工具、网站。

3. CKB 减半网站定位

2023年11月，将迎来 Nervos CKB 网络的第一次减半事件，我们将搭建CKB减半网站的工作优先级定义为最高级。

我们对该网站的定位，是通过酷炫的视觉冲击效果，良好的交互体验，吸引潜在用户去了解CKB。目前已规划了以下功能：

  • 最近一次减半的倒计时：不仅仅显示倒计时，还包含复杂的动画效果；
  • 减半时间到达后绽放烟花，持续时间至少 6 个 epoch，正好是 24 小时，不同时区的用户来访问减半网站均能看到烟花绽放效果。该时间范围可以配置，网站上线后，我们可以在社区里发一个提案来共同商讨这个参数的取值。
  • 弹幕功能
    • 减半前，允许用户送祝福，减半后，用户发贺电
    • 弹幕内容存入服务端，对于触发敏感词的弹幕，不予保存
    • 弹幕的开放时间为减半前、后一个月，该期间范围外不拉取和发送弹幕。
  • 未来几次减半的时间预估，区块奖励等数据
  • 分享功能：
    • 支持链接分享和卡片分享，方便未来减半事件的发酵传播。
    • 支持的分享渠道有推特、Facebook、Linkin、Reddit。
  • Nervos 相关链接、生态应用教程链接

4. 计划与预算

4.1 计划

为了尽快落地该网站，我们已经提前开展相关的准备工作：

  • 我们的设计师已经开始着手UI视觉稿的设计工作，如果顺利的话，在本提案通过前，可以对网站的整体效果定稿。
  • 后端、后端工程师在学习 Nervos 相关的文档，以确保开发过程中有足够的知识储备。

计划交付时间： 提案通过后的一个月内发布 Beta 版本，该版本主要用于测试上述减半效果，因此我们会把减半窗口的时间配置提前，邀请社区用户来体验减半倒计时网站。此后进行优化迭代，并听取社区的建议进行完善，发布正式版本，待稳定后（预计 Beta 版本发布之后的一个月内），我们将开放源代码。

4.2 预算

  • 服务器：用我们现有的服务器，暂时不需额外配置。待之后有新需求，且当前服务器性能无法满足时，再进行规划。
  • 人力成本：网站服务端涉及的接口不多，主要工作量在UI视觉设计和前端的视觉细节处理上，这两部分需要投入较多精力，预算为5000U （提案发起时，1 CKB = 0.0038U，折合CKB数量为 1,315,789 CKB）。

5.效果跟踪

  • 网站上线前，每隔两周我们会在论坛向社区同步一次当前的工作进度。
  • 上线后，我们会优化网站的关键字，以便搜索引擎能更有效地抓取到我们的减半网站，以便获得更多流量；不定期地，我们会在论坛上向社区提供 Google Analytics 的数据报表。

1. Background

Nervos CKB (Layer 1), one of the few PoW blockchains in the cryptocurrency industry, will usher in the first halving this year. However, there is currently no halving-related website for users to access and learn about the details of CKB halving, which is detrimental to the publicity of this significant quadrennial event.

In an effort to build a CKB Halving Countdown website as soon as possible, this proposal asks for feedback from the community.

2. About Us

CKBFans, as the name suggests, are a group of strong supporters and evangelists of CKB. Some of our members have been following and participating in the Nervos community building since a time before CKB mainnet went live. Along the way, we have seen Nervos evolve into a better and more complete infrastructure as the underlying blockchain.

For the past year or so, we’ve devoted part of our energy to creating tools for the CKB ecosystem in order to make it easier for users to use applications built on top of the CKB blockchain.

The tools/websites we have delivered include:

Above tools have gained a good reputation in the community since they went live. We are encouraged by the feedback from many community members that these tools have helped them solve their needs and saved them a lot of time. At the same time, we continue to listen to the needs of the community and continue to improve these tools to serve the community better.

.bit is a DID project built on the Nervos Layer 1. We plan to continue to bring more influential tools and websites to the Nervos community in the next period of time.

3. The Positioning of CKB Halving Website

November 2023 will see the first CKB halving, so we have set the building of a CKB halving website as the highest priority.

The positioning of the website is to attract potential community members to learn about CKB through a cool visual effect and excellent interactive user experience. The following features are in our plan:

  • A countdown of the latest CKB halving: not only displaying the countdown, but also containing complex animation effects;

  • Fireworks will bloom when the halving date arrives, and the duration will be at least 6 epochs, which is precisely 24 hours. Users in different time zones can see the fireworks blooming when they visit the halving website. The duration can be configured and we can submit a proposal to discuss the value of this parameter after the website goes live.

  • Bullet Chatting

    • Before CKB halving, users are allowed to send blessings; after the halving, users can send congratulatory messages.
    • The bullet chatting is stored on the server, and the bullet chatting that contains sensitive words will not be saved.
    • Bullet chatting is open for one month before and one month after the CKB halving.

  • Estimated time for next halvings, block rewards, and other data.

  • Sharing

    • Support the link sharing and card sharing, to help the promotion of CKB halving event.
    • Support to share the link to Twitter, Facebook, Linkin, and Reddit.

  • Links of Nervos website and tutorials of ecosystem applications.

4. Plan and Budget

4.1 Plan

In order to build the website as soon as possible, we have made preparations in advance:

  • Our designers have already started working on the UI draft, and if it goes smoothly, the overall design of the website can be finalized before this proposal is approved.

  • Back-end engineers are studying Nervos documentation to ensure that they have a sufficient knowledge base for the development process.

Estimated delivery time: The beta version will be released within one month after this proposal is approved. This version will mainly be used to test the halving visuals mentioned above, and we will advance the halving date and invite community members to test and take a look at the website. After that, we will optimize and iterate, gather community members’ suggestions for improvement, and release the final/official version. The website will be open-sourced after it runs steadily (estimated to be within one month after the beta version is released).

4.2 Budget

  • Servers: We will use our existing servers, so no additional configuration is required for now. We will figure out other plans if there are new needs and the existing servers cannot meet the demand.

  • Labor cost: There is a little workload on the website server, and the main workload is on UI design and front-end development, as both of them require more efforts. The budget will be $5000 (at the time of writing, 1 CKB = $0.0038, so the equivalent amount of CKB is 1,315,789).

5. Work/Statistical Reports

  • We will publish biweekly work reports on Nervos Talk until the website goes live.

  • After it goes live, we will optimize the keywords of the website so that search engines can easily crawl our website and get more traffic. We will also provide statistical reports from Google Analytics to the community on Nervos Talk from time to time.

我不赞同此提案，CKB Community Fund DAO的资金有限，需把这有限的资金留给生态急需的生态基础建设及科普教育方面，以及社区小伙伴有新异的dapp方面。一个减半显示网站4年关注一次，而花掉这个宝贵生态资金， 是笔很不划算的支出，不利于社区整体发展。这个减半显示可以在官网临近一个月时来显示下即可。

I don’t agree with this proposal. The CKB Community Fund DAO has limited funds, and the limited funds need to be reserved for ecological infrastructure and science education, as well as dapps for community partners with new differences. A halving display website once every four years, and spending this valuable ecological funds is a very uneconomical expenditure, which is not conducive to the overall development of the community. This halving display can be shown on the official website near the end of the month.

I’m the developer on NervosHalving.com. What you see is only the text content and basic structure. The artwork for the UI is still being worked on by an artist I have hired.

I see no harm in having another site if it better addresses the Chinese market. You can use any of the code that benefits you. The complete source code is available from the GitHub link at the bottom of the page.

我不同意该方案，首先平均中已经有此类方案出现，实在没有必要去做表面文章。第二，减半展示的核心是一个时钟，并不需要复杂的动画。简洁高效深入本质才符合极客精神。第三，祝福等弹幕和动画一样是表面工作，减半周期是设定好的带有宿命感的规则，这些表面的东西和减半周期不太搭配。
我觉得如果对ckb做市值管理，并在价格达到一个新台阶的时候做出记录，那么祝福弹幕之类的会很合适。

I do not agree with this proposal. First of all, there is already such a scheme on average. There is really no need to make superficial remarks. Second, halving the core of the display is a clock that does not require complex animation. Only by being concise and efficient and deepening the essence is in line with the geek spirit. Third, the bullet screen such as blessing works on the surface as well as animation, and halving the cycle is a set fatalistic rule, and these surface things don’t go well with the halving cycle.
I think it would be appropriate to manage the market value of ckb and record the price when the price reaches a new level.

是个好方案，想到了提前为CKB减半事件做一些准备工作，作为市场事件的着陆页用。
但是有个问题，在“市场运营”的整体组织工作中，减半事件可以作为一个市场事件进行整体组织，有没有必要组织这个事件需要评估（多少资源、多少宣传进行配合），单做一个网站的话我可以理解为一个着陆页，这个着陆页面对的对象是谁，有没有为了这个着陆页的制定详细的计划，如果没有那么多资源，是不是可以战略性的放弃这个点，将人力、资金以及宣传资源整体投入到其他市场工作中？
感觉目前的市场活动还是基本以散沙形式（单点）出现的，没有战役（campaign、整体方案）的概念，缺少运营的整体组织。

是的，现在都是散沙一样的，做的东西出来并不一定对全局有用，减半时钟说到底就是一个倒计时，实在不需要加那些华而不实的东西，弹幕也好，烟花也罢，都是表面文章起不了多大作用。而且一个更搞笑的事是，如果减半周期倒计时结束了，币价没有随着减半到达一个更高的台阶反而跌下去了，那么那些弹幕或者是烟花岂不是让人笑话死了？:joy:

Yes, now is the same as the sand, do something out of the overall situation is not necessarily useful, halving the clock in the final analysis is a countdown, it is not necessary to add those flashy things, barrage or fireworks, are surface articles can not play much effect. And a more funny thing is, if the halving cycle countdown is over, the coin price did not reach a higher step with the halving but fell down, then those barrages or fireworks are not a joke dead? :joy:

一休，现在项目缺乏的无非就是应用和币价增长，这两个都是项目所需要的。减半周期就是倒计时，大张旗鼓的搞没什么大用处，你弄了烟花庆祝和祝福弹幕，减半周期到了的话，币价没涨或者跌了，这不得被人笑话死吗？
你要做的这个烟花和弹幕，如果放在市值管理类项目上，币价涨了你庆祝，同时接受ckb打赏，在ckb到达一个目标后，用ckb去够买一个定制的四尺玉，这样比较合理。减半周期默认是要涨价的，减半周期到了币价一点不像，跌成这个鬼样，庆祝个屁啊？

2023年了，做点有意义的事儿，目前来说这个项目除了自娱自乐之外意义不大。

对你的建议就是不要做，把之前做的那两个项目优化优化再优化，能扩展到其他链上更好。
弄了一群垃圾不如深更做一个精品出来。
抱歉，对于反对意见你选择性忽视—了—哪怕是忠言逆耳。
但我实话实说，做一个倒计时，现阶段毫无用处，或者说有一丁点用处。
而且5000u的价格，实在太贵。

作为社区成员的一部分，我们只能尽自己能力范围内为Nervos生态做贡献，你说的基础建设，或有新意的dapp，目前在我们的能力之外，心有余而力不足。然而，科普教育涉及到的面很多，减半网站如果做得好，它是不是也可以成为一个科普教育、宣传的通道呢？

As part of the community members, we can only contribute to the Nervos ecology to the best of our ability. The infrastructure you mentioned, or a dapp with new ideas, is currently beyond our ability. However, there are many facets involved in education, wouldn’t the halving site, if done well, be a gateway to education and advocacy? Thank you.

感谢你的建议。上升到市场运营层面确实需要更高的统筹安排与组织策略，作为社区内的小型开发团队，我们目前也只能是在这个减半网站中落地一些我们对社区建设与宣传推广的简单想法。比如说：

  • 1、减半前，可以做送祝福的活动，通过联动Nervos生态的.bit项目，用户可以在.bit中设置祝福语，我们获取到祝福语的链上数据，在减半网站上同步显示的同时，还可以导出这些祝福语数据生成一个巨幅祝福墙发推；
  • 2、生成倒计时卡片，减半前的一段时间就可以分享该卡片到推特等主要社交渠道。
  • 3、一些竞猜活动，比如竞猜到减半时的全网算力等（促活）。当然，如果这个网站还能当作是减半事件的一个运营工具被使用，那将是我们的荣幸。

此外，该网站同时作为一个着陆页，我们会加上必要的链接，以满足开发者、投资者、生态用户他们不同的跳转需求。谢谢！

Moving up to the marketing operations level does require a higher level of coordination and organizational strategy, but as a small development team within the community, we are currently only able to land some of our simple ideas for community building and marketing operations in this halving website. For example:

  • Before halving, we can do the activity of sending blessings, by linking the .bit project of Nervos ecology, users can set the blessing words in .bit, we get the on-chain data of the blessing words and display them synchronously on the halving website, at the same time, we can also export these blessing words data to generate a blessing wall and post it on Twitter.
  • Generating a countdown card, which can be shared to important social channels such as Twitter before halving.
  • Campaigns, such as guessing the whole network Mining Hash Rate at the time of halving, etc.
