CKB Ecosystem Biweekly Update #26
Welcome to the latest CKB Ecosystem Biweekly Update. Here’s a quick summary of key dev and ecosystem progress from the past two weeks.
Infrastructure & Tooling 
- @CKBdev released CKB v0.210.0 on Sept 17th. Subsequent development upgraded faster-hex to 1.0 and addressed dependency security-audit findings.
- @CKBDevrel updated offckb with full-balance UDT burns and canary-publishing changes for v0.5.x. CCC work included a proposed falsy transfer-data fix, deprecated API removal, and package version updates.
- @FiberDevs released v0.10.0-rc1 with full-payment-hash settlements, better force-close payment recovery and multiple listening addresses. Follow-up work covered token-channel funding and unreleased Hosted LSP signer checks. More: Fiber Dev Log 2026-10-01
Web5 & DAO 
- @SalmanDev is applying $7,250 from CKB Community Fund DAO to harden Kirea Finance’s testnet RWA-lending framework. This proposal is now in the Discussion Stage.
- @Dorex45 is applying $3,000 from CKB Community Fund DAO for three university tours in Kenya. This proposal has passed the Discussion Stage, yet vote is not live on Metaforo.
- @Jedi_dtechmaker is applying $5,000 from CKB Community Fund DAO for Rivet phase 1 development. This proposal has passed the Discussion Stage, yet vote is not live on Metaforo.
- FNN Safeguard proposal closed with 5 likes (below the 30-like threshold) and will not advance to voting.
- @Jnr6 released Pocket Node for Android v1.8.5, improving app-lock behavior, multi-wallet syncing, Nervos DAO unlocks and activity labels.
- @truthixify published Vellum Milestone 1 delivery report.
Ecosystem Projects & Community 
- @CKBAMembership announced that the General Assembly admitted one new Contributing Member: Yukang Chen, CKB and Fiber core developer.

- @psawyerberlin explored A Revenue Layer for CKB Nodes: optional paid services through a separate service runner.
- @Carl shared a Fiber swap quote-board prototype built on a Fiber fork. Swap execution remains future work; feedback is welcome.
- @xjd introduced a CKB lock script using SHRINCS post-quantum signatures, with a testnet demo.
- @tianlitao introduced Obscell Web Wallet, a browser-based CKB privacy wallet.
- @faber_yang shared the Nervape Artist RGB++ DOB authentication and ownership design and Nervape Email Wallet, a CKB custodial email wallet for everyday users.
- @nhkhanq shared Fiber Test Lab for reproducible local payment-failure scenarios and invited feedback.
- @LusoCryptoLabs introduced Cellula.id, a
.cellnaming protocol on CKB mainnet, plus write-ups on testnet Fiber payments to .cell names and post-quantum name ownership. - @ArthurZhang shared CellScript 0.31 optimizations, Lineage, a batch-release evidence demo, and articles on building a ZK counter and Myelin-based EVM rollup and validium designs.
- @ILE_LABS shared a Compatibility Kit for RPC and SDK Consumers, an independent tool for checking node RPC compatibility.
- @JackyLHH shared CKB Community Fund DAO Dashboard, making it easy for everyone to view DAO rules, proposals, voting results, execution progress, and fund usage in one place.

- Build on CKB: Campaign #06 concluded with 24 dev participants.
- @blackbox_pos published Devlog #9: the new board came alive, the terminal learned to take Bitcoin, and a board designed for this product — rather than bought and adapted — exists for the first time.
- @LucentLabs shared an order-book DEX prototype on CKB testnet and invited feedback.
- @Ayoub_Lesfer updated CrowdCell (formerly CKB Kickstarter) to v1.2 on testnet, with a new landing page.
- @OWK50GA published From Rust Witness to Verifiable CKB Interface: A Practical CKB IDL Walkthrough.
- @U-Iriamuzu introduced a stealth-address extension prototype for CCC with a simulated browser demo.
- @Adokiye_Destiny introduced Lean Oracle, a committee-signed pull price oracle for CKB, live on testnet.
- @Ticoworld shared CKB Script Port, an experiment in transferring synced script state between light clients.
- @Hallab introduced CKAutomata, with scheduled/recurring payments and Nervos DAO Harvest automation.
- @Code3ks introduced FiberNuts Community Market, a testnet app combining Cashu with Fiber payments.
- @ebubedev shared Twine, a testnet P2P trading PoC combining Fiber-based CKB settlement with off-chain fiat payments.
- @Ticoworld introduced Waymark, the wallet-state recovery for CKB, first validated on Pocket Node.
