CKBA Contributing Member: Cycle 2 (Q3 2026) Outcome
The General Assembly has completed its vote on the Contributing Member applications received ahead of the October GA. 5 applications were considered, and 1 applicant has been admitted.
Please join us in welcoming Yukang Chen (@chenyukang), a long-standing core developer on CKB and Fiber, as a Contributing Member.
All applicants have been contacted individually with the outcome and a summary of the feedback from GA members.
One observation for future applicants: several applications this round came from builders whose CKB work began recently, and GA members recognised the quality of that work. While the Association is still small, members also gave weight to a longer track record, and a number of them noted that they needed more context to judge applications. Making your work easy to verify, and being visible in community discussions on Nervos Talk and in builder channels, helps the GA assess an application.
Applications remain open on an ongoing basis through the form linked at the top of this thread. Each quarterly General Assembly considers the applications received by the announced cutoff, and the next cutoff will be posted here.
