Highlights

• Nervos roadmap 2020 has been released. This is a long term vision that contains three key areas— Development, Research, and Community.

• As our community has grown, we have added a developer AMA on Telegram and a weekly Community Call on Zoom to update the progress of our project.

• As of now, the number of CKBytes deposited in the Nervos DAO is over 1.3 billion, from over 700 addresses (more than 10% of the current circulating supply). Learn about Nervos DAO or Nervos DAO Explained.

Development

• CKB v0.26.0 has been released. The RPC get_cells_by_lock_hash and get_live_cells_by_lock_hash added two new fields in the response.

• Neuron v0.26.0 has been released. It is now bundled with the embedded CKB node.

• There are three ongoing proposals nervosnetwork/ckb#1866, nervosnetwork/ckb#1867 and nervosnetwork/rfcs#158.

Community

• docs.nervos.org

  • docs.nervos.org is a basic document for the Nervos community, which contains the basic concepts and some tools for developers, the Neuron wallet guide, Nervos DAO guide and more. According to the CKB development progress, these documents will be regularly updated.

• Nervos developer AMA

  
  • Every Friday 3 PM EST there will be a developer AMA on CKB Dev Telegram channel. Nervos Dev Tannr will host it and answer community questions that are submitted throughout the week. Catch the first AMA recap: CKB Developer AMA #1 with Tannr.

• Nervos Community Call

  
  • Nervos Community Call is co-sponsored by Williams and Switch in the Chinese community. This creates an opportunity for everyone to meet online and share progress updates or ask questions. Check the first recap (in Chinese) and please join our next Community Call RFC.

• CKB Developer Seminar

  • Nervos Community organized a CKB Developer Seminar bi-weekly for developers in the Chinese community. The latest issue is talking about the Neuron wallet and Nervos DAO from Chenyu (Nervos developer). Catch the interesting recap.

  • Daniel(Nervos Co-founder) had a panel about thoughts of Libra at “Hainan free trade port international cooperation forum on digital economy and blockchain”.

  • Matt Quinn(Nervos Community Builder) gave a crypto-economic talk in San Francisco.

  • Nervos participated in "laBITconf 2019"as a sponsor to connect with speakers and participants from over 20 countries.

  • Dec 21th, DC (Nervos community manager) will attend the 2019 international digital mining summit hosted by Lieyun Finance and share some feedback about mining development.

• Dresden

  • Jan 8th in 2020, Matt Quinn has been invited to Blockchain Meetup Saxony. He will give a technical overview of Nervos and discuss some possible use cases.
