Highlights

Since the first stage category of our Grants Program was published last month, we have seen some applications from developers/development teams all over the world. 9 Grant RFCs have been published and 2 of them have been approved (more detail to come)…
As of now, the number of CKBytes deposited in the Nervos DAO is over 3 billion, from over 1500 addresses (more than 22% of the current circulating supply!) Learn about Nervos DAO or see the Nervos DAO Explained.

CKB v0.28.0 has released. There’s a breaking change to send_transaction RPC (#1879).
We have deployed Duktape (a Javascript VM) and mruby to testnet.
Neuron wallet v0.27.0 has been released.

Nervos Grants project

- In Fork It #10, Jan, Terry and Daniel talked about the impressive things in the blockchain industry in the past year. At the end of the podcast, they sent out new year gifts!
Events Recap
- Nervos community call#3, Kevin answered a lot of questions from the Chinese community and shared the development directions in 2020.
- Jan 25th, BTCU (Blockchain Technology Commnunity of Universities) hosted an online Nervos QUIZ. About 50 students attended and 1 of them applied for an SDK grant after the quiz.
- Jan 28th, Nervos community member Matt gave a speech on “Building a blockchain community” and discussed Web3 during the “Web3 in 2020 meetup”.
