What’s the max size and max cycles of a block?
The maximum block size is 597,000 bytes. The maximum cycles allowed is 3.5 billion (3,500,000,000).
These limits enable a block to include 1,000 typical transactions of two inputs and two outputs (known as “two-in-two-out” transactions), all inputs and outputs are locked using the default secp256k1 lock script with different keys. In addition, empty data is used, and there is no type script attached.
The maximum size of the CKB block is 597,000 bytes. The maximum number of cycles allowed is 3.5 billion.
