We are reaching out to gather your valuable feedback on a recent proposal for updating the nervos.org homepage to better reflect our current focus and strategy, particularly in relation to our Bitcoin Layer 2 (L2) initiative.
Currently, the Nervos website does not adequately highlight the pivotal role of our Bitcoin L2 strategy. This information, which is crucial for our community and potential partners, is primarily found on the CKB Eco Fund’s official website. To align our digital presence with our strategic priorities and to ensure that our website serves as a comprehensive and up-to-date resource, we are considering an update of the homepage.
The new homepage will include a brief introduction of CKB as the “Contract Knrnel of Bitcoin” and a link to CKB Eco Fund website. There are two preferred designs. The first one uses the fonts similar to CKB Eco Fund’s logo , while the second one uses regular fonts. (Relevant design can be found here: figma)
Your feedback matters. So we encourage you to participate in this discussion and share your thoughts on the proposed designs and any suggestions you may have for the homepage updates.
I prefer the second option…It has a “cleaner” design in my opinion.
I have only one doubt: the “Contract Kernel of Bitcoin” would substitute the “Common Knowledge Base” information or would they appear together? I would particularly like to see both informations on the webpage, so people would have a more complete approach about Nervos Network capabilities.
I don’t know if I agree with changing the Common Knowledge Base reference on the website. I understand that an important part of the community has turned towards the narrative of CKB as Bitcoin’s L2, and, without a doubt, the market has reacted well to that narrative, but in my opinion the reference to the Common Knowledge Base should be maintained in some way. Since it is the core principle of CKB, without that idea it is not possible to understand CKB in all its dimensions in my opinion, so I agree with oompaloompa.
That said, I would choose option 2 over 1 in the absence of other options.
If the idea is, as I understand it, to display both brands alongside each other, then I think it’s a good move.
The BTCKB initiative is a primary focus of much of the ecosystem and so the website should immediately convey that. If in future there are other areas that become the core focal points then the landing page can be changed accordingly.
Of the options, I think option 2 font style is better, but I would like to see more creative variations of that option, maybe something that incorporates the Bitcoin icon, or infuses a bit of colour maybe on the Contract Kernel for Bitcoin side
At first I thought option 2 was better because it sticks with the current theme, but the more I look at it, I’m changing my mind to the first option.
If it’s only this one box on the website that we are talking about, then I like the idea of using the CKB Eco Fund fonts as that is where the link is taking you so it makes sense to follow that theme.
Thanks for your valuable feedback and I apologize for the confusion. I would like to clarify that both the “Common Knowledge Base” and the “Contract Kernel of Bitcoin” will be prominently featured on our redesigned homepage.

Yes, the idea is to display both brands alongside each other. Thanks for the feedback, and it seems more people like the design of Option 2 - same font style.
How about an animation displaying how bitcoin was really the brain child of Nervos. And then fade in the mathematics behind this unknown truth. But really it is quantum symbols telling the story of how this injustice went unnoticed. THEN FADE To: NERVOS
