In Nueron Wallet Full Blockchain uses much pc laptop storage

Hi,
New to the forum. After purchasing 2k CKB, I needed a windows wallet to both store and stake my crypto. I searched google and came up with the Neuron and downloaded it. In setting it up, it asked whether I wanted the full blockchain or light blockchain. Not knowing the difference and because I wanted to stake, I choose the full blockchain. Sadly, now my pc storage is almost completely full.
So, can I remove the full blockchain in my storage and just start over with the light blockchain? Will I still be able to stake. Or is there some other work around so that I rescue my pc storage?

Yes, you can still use the Nervos DAO to gain interest using the light client.

To reclaim your disk space and switch to the light client, do the following:

  • Open the settings.
  • Under “Network”, make sure “Internal Node” is selected.
  • Find the “CKB Node Config & Storage” and click the folder name to open it in a new window. Leave this alone for now and switch back to the Neuron window.
  • Under “Network”, switch to “Light Client”.
  • Go back to the folder you opened and delete the “data” folder.

You should now have your disk space back and the light client should be syncing.
