[Important] Godwoken Freeze Date Extension and Final Deadline for Asset Withdrawal

Dear CKB Community Members,

Thank you for your continued support and trust in Godwoken.

Based on valuable community feedback and to ensure every user has sufficient time to safely migrate their assets, we have decided to postpone the official freeze date of Godwoken from October 31, 2025, to January 1, 2026.

We strongly urge all users who still hold assets on Godwoken to complete asset withdrawals before the final deadline.

Key Information Summary:

  • Final Freeze Time: January 1, 2026, 23:59:59 (UTC)
  • Required Action: Withdraw all assets back to the CKB mainnet via Godwoken Bridge before the deadline.
  • Access Point: https://bridge.godwoken.io

Important Reminder:

After January 1, 2026, Godwoken will enter a complete freeze state, at which point:

  1. The network will no longer process new transactions or cross-chain operations.
  2. The Godwoken Bridge front-end interface will be taken offline.
  3. Asset withdrawals will become extremely difficult and inefficient.

To avoid your assets being locked indefinitely or any unnecessary inconvenience, please make sure to complete all withdrawals before the final deadline.

Hi @keith , is there any more info on the Forcebridge hack and the police investigation?

Nowadays, years after dCKB coming offline, there still are users trying to convert back dCKB to CKB, some for the first time. In the meantime, dCKB Rescuer has been created, used and deprecated, so I’ll have to create a new one from scratch just for them.

The new extension up to January 1, 2026 is a welcomed addition, but it’s still rushed. Realistically it should be in counted in years, not months.

Hopefully you can create a tool that can alleviate this long term user need,

So the situation is , a sUDT is minted on L1 which was deposited into Godwoken?

Almost, look for Godwoken Bridge labeled tokens on https://v1.gwscan.com/tokens/bridge

Biggest offender by far is pCKB with 10584 users holding 423 M CKB ~ 1.4 M USD :exploding_head:
