提案背景

当前Nervos DAO采用预付款制度,即在项目启动初期即将资金直接转账至申请方。过去案例(如Palmyra)凸显了此模式的严重缺陷:项目执行缺乏约束,资金无法有效回收,项目进度不透明,社区监督难度大且存在道德风险。

提案目标

引入托管质押交付与对赌协议激励,充分利用CKB可编程货币特性,建立动态可控资金管理体系,提高项目质量与资金安全。

具体方案

一、基础机制:托管+质押后付款

  • DAO批准资金统一托管于智能合约或多签账户(Cell)。
  • 项目阶段性成果完成后,项目方需质押与释放金额等额的CKB。
  • 社区验收通过后,释放阶段性资金并返还质押CKB。
  • 若未通过验收,DAO可扣留部分或全部质押资产,资金回流社区。

二、附加机制:对赌协议式付款

  • 项目方自愿加入对赌条款,明确阶段成果目标及对应资金释放比例。
  • 根据目标达成情况,动态释放资金,未达标资金自动回流社区。

三、整合方案:动态智能资金管理模式

  • 整合上述两种机制,以托管质押为核心,通过智能合约自动执行对赌条款。
  • 小额匿名团队项目审核相对宽松,大额项目严格审核,以降低社区管理成本。

案例参考:猪八戒网与淘宝模式

  • 猪八戒网:项目款项托管,服务方完成后雇主验收付款。
  • 淘宝模式:买家付款托管支付宝,确认收货后资金才转给卖家。
  • 两者共同点:托管资金、分阶段验收、降低风险、提高信任。

CKB可编程货币优势

  • 每笔资金锁定于独立Cell,通过智能合约设定释放条件(如时间锁定、多签审核)。
  • 相比ETH账户模型,CKB天然支持动态资金流、轻量级阶段解锁与资产状态跟踪,成本更低、更灵活。

社区参与及技术可行性研究

  • 鼓励Nervos社区技术人员研究实现动态托管资金系统。
  • DAO资金管理应体现去中心化价值理念,避免中心化倾向。

Background

Currently, Nervos DAO adopts a prepayment model, where funds are directly transferred to applicants at the beginning of a project. Past cases (such as Palmyra) have highlighted serious issues with this model: lack of execution constraints, difficulty in recovering funds, project opacity, high community oversight burden, and significant moral hazard risks.

Proposal Objective

To introduce an escrow and stake-backed delivery mechanism combined with milestone-based incentive agreements, fully leveraging CKB’s programmable currency features, in order to establish a dynamic and controllable fund management system that enhances project quality and ensures fund security.

Detailed Proposal

1. Basic Mechanism: Escrow + Stake-Backed Post-Payment

  • Approved project funds are uniformly escrowed in a multisignature account or smart contract (Cell).
  • Upon completion of each project milestone, the project team must stake an equivalent amount of CKB matching the phase’s disbursement amount.
  • Upon community approval of the deliverable, the escrowed funds for that milestone are released, and the corresponding stake is returned to the project team.
  • If the deliverable fails to meet the standards, DAO retains part or all of the staked assets, and the escrowed funds are frozen or reclaimed for community use.

2. Optional Mechanism: Milestone Performance Betting

  • Project teams may voluntarily opt into a milestone betting agreement.
  • Clear, quantifiable milestone goals and corresponding payout ratios must be specified.
  • Fund disbursement will dynamically adjust based on goal achievement:
    • Full achievement: 100% fund release.
    • Partial achievement: proportional release.
    • Failure to achieve: partial or full fund recovery.

3. Integrated Model: Dynamic Smart Fund Management

  • Combines the above mechanisms, centering around escrow and staking.
  • Milestone verification and incentive clauses are automatically enforced through smart contracts.
  • Smaller projects or teams with anonymous backgrounds may undergo lighter auditing, while larger projects require stricter reviews, balancing audit resource allocation.

Case References: Models from ZBJ.com and Taobao

  • ZBJ.com: Employer funds are escrowed; service providers submit deliverables; upon acceptance, funds are released.
  • Taobao: Buyer payments are escrowed via Alipay; funds are released only upon buyer confirmation of receipt.
  • Both models emphasize: escrowed funds, phased acceptance, risk mitigation, and enhanced trust.

Advantages of CKB’s Programmable Currency

  • Each fund batch is locked in a separate Cell with programmable release conditions (e.g., timelock, multisig verification).
  • Compared to ETH’s account model, CKB naturally supports dynamic fund flow, lightweight milestone unlocking, and state tracking with lower costs and greater flexibility.

Community Involvement and Technical Feasibility Research

  • Encourage Nervos community developers to research and implement a dynamic fund escrow system.
  • DAO fund management should embody the decentralization spirit and avoid centralization tendencies.

Industry Context and Ecosystem Development

  • Amidst the current wave of blockchain VC collapses, a dynamic and smart fund management system will enhance Nervos DAO’s competitiveness, protect community assets, and promote long-term sustainable ecosystem growth.

Implementation Steps

  1. Approve this proposal within the DAO.
  2. Modify the DAO proposal template to add new payment model options.
  3. Establish an auditing and milestone review committee (initially manual escrow, gradually moving toward smart contract automation).
  4. Technically upgrade step-by-step toward full on-chain automated management.

Expected Outcomes

  • Significantly reduce project risks and improve execution quality.
  • Enhance community oversight and transparency in project progress.
  • Achieve smart and transparent DAO fund management.
