Most people discovering CKB are not starting from zero, they’re arriving from Solana, Ethereum, Bitcoin, or somewhere else with assumptions already baked in. That makes the learning experience different.
You’re not just learning CKB, you’re unlearning habits from other ecosystems and comparing tradeoffs in real time. I’m curious: what chain did you come from, and what was the hardest mental shift when you started trying to understand CKB?
I came from Ethereum. The shift from EVM to the Cell Model was difficult because it’s conceptually completely different. I had some experience with Bitcoin Script, but it’s really quite different since it’s so limited.
When I started there were also no frameworks available, and no production ready examples of any kind. Nearly every developer that attempted to learn back then became frustrated and left. It’s much better today, but there is always much to improve on.
