CKB Ecosystem Biweekly Update #24
Welcome to the latest CKB Ecosystem Biweekly Update. Here’s a quick summary of key dev and ecosystem progress from the past two weeks.
Infrastructure & Tooling 
- @CKBdev advanced SHRINCS tooling (a Rust crate, CKB lock script using 324-byte stateful sigs, and web-wallet prototype) while hardening security, refining a draft on-chain vote design, and continuing the CKB DAO Treasury design work.
- @CKBDevrel released Fiber Opticrum Desktop, fixed an iCKB deposit-page bug, continued revamping the RGB++ Explorer, and advanced Khie, a P2P wallet-connection protocol.
- @FiberDevs continued post-v0.9.0 work: reviewed draft Loop In/Out and LSP PRs, merged a default-config helper for fiber-js, prepared OffCKB v0.5 with a Fiber devnet, and shipped fiber-pay v0.3.2. More: Fiber Dev Log 2026-09-03
Web5 & DAO 
- @Bitcoin_Renegade is applying $2,000 from CKB Community Fund DAO for a 3-month media campaign + local meetup. This proposal is now in the Discussion Stage.
- @lestonEth is applying $15,000 from CKB Community Fund DAO to build Corven, cloud dev infra for CKB. This proposal is now in the Discussion Stage.
- @truthixify’s revised Vellum proposal passed the Voting Satge with 64.37% Yes.
- @Rypto published the Month 1 campaign report: 10 videos, 28,959 impressions, and 6,944 views.
- Invisibook shared a weekly update: merged cozk2p, updated Proof of Buy’s Sybil-defense design, and continued consensus development.
- Pocket Node for Android is now live on Google Play.
Ecosystem Projects & Community 
- With the next GA moved to late September, the CKBA Contributing Member application deadline in this cycle is now Sep 15 (AOE).
- @Nervapes attended Shanghai BOOOM Art Festival 2026 during Sept 4-6.
- @ArthurZhang released CellScript v0.25 with more expressive contracts, safer upgrades, and stronger verification.
- @Lawliet_Chan expanded the Proof-of-Buy Sybil-defense design.
- @zz_tovarishch published AI, machine payments, and Fiber in 2026: an opportunity map for CKB and Fiber developers.
- @ckba_build published two long-form explainers:

Nervos Community Catalyst
- CKB × Kaze Mombasa, Kenya Unitour has wrapped up. Read the event recap and @Dorex45’s *Lessons from Mombasa.*
- The CKB Off-Chain Vietnam meetup will be co-hosted with @bps_club on Oct 8, 2026.
- Final Gone in 60ms: Fiber Network Infrastructure Hackathon results are out. Congrats to all winners!
- @drey shared the story behind CLASP, the winner of its category and the hackathon overall.
- @Ajay introduced Veyrivo, an in-development work marketplace built on PactAgent infra.
- @vibes introduced Orbital, a developer environment for building/deploying CKB apps. Try the app.
- @blackbox_pos completed v0.3.0, closing the prototype-hardware cycle. Work now shifts to a new board, stronger hardware, and a fresh codebase. More: Blackbox Devlog #8
