Hello Nervos community!
I’m thrilled to announce that my product CLASP took 1st place in the Wallet & Payment UX Infrastructure track of the Gone in 60ms: Fiber Network Infrastructure Hackathon, and claimed the overall winner spot too! ![]()
Let me tell you the story behind it, because Clasp was born from a real problem every Fiber developer and user faces.
THE PROBLEM
Imagine you want to use a Fiber-powered app: a game, a tipping bot, a subscription service and many more. To let it make payments, you have to hand over your node RPC endpoint and wallet credentials.
Think about what that actually means:
• That app now has TOTAL control of your wallet. Not “can charge me 10 CKB a month” everything. It can drain every channel you have.
• There are no permission controls, no spend limits, no way to say “this app can only pay this merchant” or “never more than X per day.”
• The access is permanent. Uninstalled the app? doesn’t matter, the credentials still work. Revoking means rotating credentials for everything you’ve connected.
• One compromised app means your entire wallet is exposed. Every app you connect multiplies your attack surface.
This is a massive barrier to a real Fiber app ecosystem. Users can’t safely connect to apps, and developers can’t responsibly ask them to.
THE SOLUTION: CLASP
CLASP is a secure session and permission layer on Nervos Network that lets applications make Fiber payments without ever touching your credentials. It’s made up of:
• A pairing protocol :allows apps connect through secure, scoped sessions instead of raw wallet access
• A wallet policy engine: you define exactly what each app can do: spend limits, allowed recipients, session lifetime
• An allow-listed Fiber gateway: this ensures every payment passes through rules you approved
• A TypeScript/React SDK :developers integrate scoped, revocable payments in minutes, not weeks
Every session is scoped, policy-controlled, and revocable with one click.Check out the product here

WHAT’S NEXT FOR CLASP
The work definitely doesn’t stop here. I’ll be continuing to build on the product, winning was amazing, but the most valuable prize was the detailed feedback from the panel of judges including [@chenyukang @Hanssen @RetricSu @quake ]. I’ll be using it to push the product further, as its already shaping the roadmap ahead.
My appreciation also goes to the Nervos team and @neon.bit for setting up this incredible event, I’d love for everyone to check out CLASP and share your thoughts, your reviews and feedback will genuinely help shape where the product goes from here. I’ll also be sharing progress updates with the community in the coming days.
