Cheers everyone!
We’re hosting another AMA! This time, we’ll be joined by Drey, a member of the Build on CKB Telegram group and the creator of Clasp, the overall winner of the “Gone in 60ms” Fiber Network Infrastructure Hackathon.
Drey is a product and blockchain engineer who has been building in Web3 for three years. He joined the Nervos ecosystem around three months ago and has already made his mark with a project tackling wallet permissions and application access on Fiber.
What is Clasp?
Clasp helps users connect applications and AI agents to Fiber wallets while retaining control over what they’re allowed to do.
It lets wallet owners:
-
Grant specific permissions to an application or AI agent
-
Set spending limits and session expiry times
-
Review and reduce the permissions an application requests
-
Revoke access at any time
For developers, Clasp provides an open-source SDK for integrating these controls into their applications.
You can explore the Clasp demo, browse the GitHub repository, or follow Drey on X.
Why did Clasp win?
The hackathon evaluated projects on completeness, technical reliability, reusability, user experience, practical value, and innovation.
Clasp stood out for addressing a concrete wallet-integration security gap and bringing permissions, payment sessions, revocation, attack prevention, and developer tooling together in a working, verifiable submission. It took first place in the Wallet & Payment UX Infrastructure category and was named the overall winner.
What would you like to ask Drey?
Whether you’re curious about what brought him to CKB, his experience building Clasp, the challenges of working with Fiber, wallet permissions for AI agents, or what he plans to build next, this is your chance to ask.
