[DIS] Mobile-Ready CKB Light Client (Pocket Node) for Android

Title: Pocket Node v1.7.4 is out — sync and Nervos DAO reliability

Pocket Node v1.7.4 is live. This one is a reliability release driven almost entirely by your reports here and on Telegram. Thank you to everyone who sent screenshots and steps to reproduce.

Sync

  • Wallets with a long history (and wallets whose balance is entirely in Nervos DAO) no longer get stuck re-scanning the chain forever.
  • The custom block-height field works now. The Apply button was hidden behind the keyboard and Enter did nothing, so a custom start height could not be set. Fixed.
  • A DAO deposit made before your chosen sync start block used to be invisible, missing from the list and uncounted in your balance. The DAO screen now detects these and offers a deep rescan to bring them back. The height picker also warns that your start block must come before your first deposit.

Nervos DAO

  • Withdraw is reliable. It no longer hangs on “Withdrawing from DAO…” and forget itself when you reopen the app, and a deposit can no longer be withdrawn twice by accident. The state survives closing the app.
  • Completing an unlock now succeeds. A transaction-encoding error was causing the network to reject the final unlock.

Sending

  • A pending send sometimes showed a wrong red amount (it was displaying your change instead of the amount sent) and only corrected after sync. It now shows the right amount immediately.

Also in this release

  • Background sync is now offered as a clear choice right after you set your PIN, with a home-screen reminder if your balance may be out of date.
  • Security and reliability hardening: clipboard auto-clear after copying a key, the updater verifies the downloaded app’s signature before installing, keys wiped from memory after use, and safer number parsing throughout.
  • Haptic feedback on the PIN pad and copy actions, a clearer screen-lock prompt, and a DAO card layout fix.
