I do appreciate your effort on making Light Client run on Android and I’ve been supporting your work for a long time, but I can’t stress enough how I dislike this pattern:
- We reinvent the wheel with in-wallet protocols, like NervosDAO
- Later on we evaluate how we might be compatible standard DApps, like nervdao.com
BTW this wallet will likely NOT even be able to vote in Community DAO v1.1, cause either:
- You stick with the basically outdated
SECP256K1/blake160then you can use awful legacy binding like Neuron in CommunityDAO v1.0. - Otherwise, you use our golden Quantum Resistant Lock, but then for voting on Community DAO 1.1 you’ll need the CCC integration.
Conversely, in my eyes the way to go is:
- We create a wallet that is CCC enabled, Light Client enabled, Quantum Resistant
- Users use standard DApps (such as nervdao.com) to interact with protocols
Also, do we really need yet another wallet? For example, have you considered joining forces with Quantum Purse?
Again, I do appreciate your effort on making Light Client run on Android and I’ve been supporting your work for a long time, so please explore alternatives that ensure you are compensated for your valuable work.
Love & Peace, Phroi
