PS: after carefully analyzing the current situation, I took the following actions:
Change Re-balancing Algorithm
Change the bot rebalancing algorithm to minimize the amount of iCKB holdings, actively looking to convert them to CKB. In the long term, this will maximize the CKB ready to match incoming iCKB to CKB conversions. Of course, with this change the bot loses the ability to gain NervosDAO interests on his own capital, in exchange for being able to provide a better User Experience.
Increase Bot Capital
Send all the remaining CommunityDAO funds to the bot. This maximizes the amount of capital available to the bot, creating a bigger buffer to absorb future liquidity crunches.
To account for this, I convert the remaining CommunityDAO funds at the current value in working hours to be done in the future:
126,731 iCKB + 1,869 CKB ~ 149450 CKB ~ 1000 USD ~ 20 hours to be done
This liquidity summed to the last payout and the initial bot capital brings the bot capital to a bit more than 300k iCKB, so around three iCKB standard deposits.
Conclusion
Once iCKB deposits become ready to be withdrawn from and the bot capital gets converted to CKB, it will create a bigger and better managed buffer to absorb future liquidity crunches, ushering in an era of better User Experience.
