iCKB Liquidity Crunch

Some on-going iCKB to CKB conversions depleted the CKB reserves of the matching Bot, as expected when the redemptions overcome the short term availability of mature deposits. It will take about two weeks to fulfills those orders, in short it’ll go like this:

  1. Wait until the first iCKB deposit available reaches maturity, two weeks.
  2. The bot converts his own iCKB to CKB using this deposit.
  3. The bot matches the conversions.
  4. Back to 1 until all conversions are satisfied.

On the other side, not only all conversions of CKB to iCKB are unaffected, but they may also speed up the on-going iCKB to CKB conversions

Additionally, conversions of multiple of 100k iCKB to CKB are always available and pay zero conversion fees by design.

Side Note: let’s assume the matching bot is unable to match iCKB to CKB conversions and a user wants to convert 99999 iCKB back to CKB, a user can follow these steps:

  1. User converts 2 CKB to iCKB
  2. User now holds a bit more than 100k iCKB
  3. User converts everything back to CKB
  4. Interface creates a Deposit Withdrawal Request for 100k iCKB and an order for the remaining iCKB dust amount
  5. User has just to wait for the Withdrawal Request to mature
  6. User has to wait for the bot to match the remaining iCKB dust conversion order

iCKB NervosDAO Rework

I completed the next iteration of CCC-based utilities to interact with NervosDAO. These utilities will be used by both dCKB and iCKB. In the scope of this development I followed the Spore example as suggested by @Vimchain and the OOP style as suggested by @Hanssen. Feel free to review the code and provide any feedback:

iCKB Integrations

I haven’t heard back from any team since last update, hopefully this will change with the new iCKB SDK based on CCC.

Expenses and Remaining Funds

Not really much else went on in the iCKB world in February and so I don’t have any additional expenses to report. The remaining CommunityDAO funds amount to about 127k iCKB.
