Without a reference Audit tool, both reads the situation equally well.

Your understanding is correct—in the worst case, users are essentially running the DAO 1.1 service themselves.

If people question the services built by the current dev team, wouldn’t they question an auditing tool built by the same team?

So long that we can audit the code, fork it and own it, I feel like we are good on this side

My question was more there will be an operator who will have complete control on V1.1 Votes. This tool addresses that.

Another solution was reworking the design & code causing the issue in the first place.
