Welcome to the latest CKB Ecosystem Biweekly Update. Here’s a quick summary of key dev and ecosystem progress from the past two weeks.
Infrastructure & Tooling 
- @CKBdev shipped Tentacle v0.7.7, tightened light-client proof/block validation, improved ckb-cli and C/Rust contract tooling, and expanded CKB-VM agent skills and guides. More: CKB Dev Log 2026-08-19
- @CKBDevrel is testing the redesigned CCC App and working on a remote wallet connecting protocol based on libp2p.
- @FiberDevs released fiber-pay v0.3.1 for FNN v0.9.0, fixed several security alerts, and progressed Hosted LSP, TLC reconciliation, peer-rate limiting, and liquidity management. More: *Fiber Dev Log 2026-08-20*
Web5 & DAO 
- Fiber-payjoin-kit V2 and CrowdCell did not pass the Discussion Stage of CKB Community Fund DAO.
- @truthixify resubmitted Vellum with revised payments and clearer roadmap independence. This proposal has passed the Discussion Stage, yet voting isn’t live on Metaforo.
- The Pocket Node for iOS proposal passed the DAO Voting Stage with 52.77% Yes.
- Fiber Studio (formerly Fiber Desktop) shipped v1.1.1, bundling stable FNN v0.9.0 with better stale-channel handling and feedback.
- Invisibook shared a weekly update: merged settlement and submitted its paper to NDSS.
- FiberLatch Access published its Final Completion Report.
Ecosystem Projects & Community 
- Nervos Talk’s translation-plugin update added on-demand translation into 95+ languages and fixed several issues.
- @abel published Pay By The Second, Watched By The Second: The Problem Hiding Inside Micropayments.
- @ArthurZhang added LS-IDL workflow support to the CellScript Registry, released CellScript 0.24, and introduced pluggable chain modules in Myelin.
- @RetricSu released a Fiber testnet 1v1 shooter game demo where every hit triggers real settlement. Try it here.
- @guopeng_lin published COMP Shared Lock: From Gas Pool to Open Message Spaces, featuring an on-chain text room and a public graffiti wall.
- @joii2020 shared an experimental Fiber + CKB Light Client integration that handles most on-chain queries locally.
- @ckba_build published two long-form explainers:

- Build on CKB: Campaign #04 is live.
- @blackbox_pos removed Blackbox’s last server dependency, restored live pricing, and added OTA updates; the device is ready for new hardware. More: Blackbox Devlog #7
- @ebubedev shared a self-hosted Cross-Chain Hub kit connecting Fiber and Bitcoin Lightning.
- @truthixify built a two-player ZK word game on CKB. Try it here.

- The Spark committee terminated Cell Sandbox’s funding, citing below-expectation improvements in its educational content.
