Tap. Paid. Two seconds. And it can only get better.
That is a 5 CKB tip leaving a Cellula Wallet and reaching a writer on the other side: 2.08 seconds from the tap to “Paid”. Nobody wrote down seed words to make that wallet. No node was running on that device. No block was waited for.
Cellula Wallet is a CKB wallet that lives in your passkey, with Fiber built in. Here is what it brings, and what it opens up.
Your passkey is the wallet
Face or fingerprint, and the wallet exists. No 12 words on paper, no password to forget.
- New phone? Your passkey manager brings the same wallet back.
- Lost every device? Guardians you choose bring it back, after a waiting period in which you can stop any recovery you did not start.
- Underneath sits a smart account on CKB. Your passkey signs, and nothing that can spend sits on our servers.
Payments in seconds, not blocks
Fiber lives inside the wallet. Top it up once, and every payment after that lands in two or three seconds.
- No node to run. Cellula’s LSP, a Fiber node that serves many wallets, keeps your channel open. The channel keys stay on your device.
- CKB or tokens. Pay in either, with the same tap.
- Money comes in too. Fiber nodes outside Cellula can pay your wallet.
Pay a name, not an address
Send to sofia.cell instead of a long ckb1 address. The wallet finds where it goes.
One button for shops
Cellula Checkout puts a “Pay with Fiber” button on any page with two lines of code. The buyer pays from their Fiber balance in one tap, without leaving the page, and the money lands on the shop’s own Fiber node. Scryve, a reading platform, already takes tips this way in its test app.
An allowance for your AI agent
Give an AI agent its own Fiber balance and the limits you choose. It pays for what it uses on its own: an API answers “402 Payment Required”, the agent pays, the answer comes back. Claude Code paid 0.1 CKB this way in 1.7 seconds. Anything above your limit waits for one tap on your phone, signed by your wallet.
On npm: cellula-agent and cellula-mcp.
Private when you want it
- Private payments. People who pay your name can send to a one-time address that the chain does not link to you. A view key shows what you received, without the power to spend it.
- Hidden amounts. Send CKB inside a private pool, with the amounts hidden on chain.
Savings behind a post-quantum key
Quantum Vault keeps CKB and tokens behind a SPHINCS+ key, apart from what you spend every day. It opens with 24 words that only you keep, on any device.
See it before you sign
Check and sign shows, before every signature, what leaves the wallet, what comes in and the fee. Nothing is signed blind.
And the rest, in one place
CKB and tokens, RGB++ ones too. DOBs. Nervos DAO. A Bitcoin address with RGB++ leap. .cell names. Khie, to sign for a site open on another device. An Android app that checks the chain with its own light client and watches your Fiber balance while you are away. In English, Português, Español and 中文.
What this opens up
- Writers paid per read, the second someone reads.
- Shops paid in seconds, without cards and without waiting for blocks.
- Apps that charge per use, a tenth of a CKB per call, paid by the agent that makes it.
- A wallet anyone can open, with the face or finger they already use to unlock their phone.
Built to carry many
- One Cellula LSP carried 11,496 wallet channels in our scale test (t/11068).
- Three fixes from this work are merged into Fiber itself (#1703, #1708, #1715).
- Sites connect the wallet with cellula-sdk.
Next: mainnet, come and be part of the journey!
Everything above runs today on the CKB test network. To bring it to mainnet, with a public Fiber LSP that any wallet, shop or agent can use, we have put a proposal to the Community Fund DAO: Cellula on Fiber: a wallet, a checkout and an AI agent on a public mainnet LSP. Read it, and tell us there what you think.
Cellula Wallet. The wallet in your passkey.
